Bocuse d’Or National Selection United States

UNCLE BEN’S® is a Grand Platinum Sponsor of the Bocuse d’Or NATIONAL SELECTION UNITED STATES - the culinary competition held to select the chef to represent the United States at the prestigious Bocuse d’Or World Cuisine Contest in Lyon, France. The biennial competition known as the "Bocuse d'Or" showcases the talents of chefs from around the world. Each competing chef participates only after winning a preliminary competition in his/her own country. Chefs from 24 countries have qualified to participate in 2007. The competition took place in conjunction with SIRHA, at the 13th International Hotel Catering & Food Trade Exhibition. Gavin Kaysen, El Bizcocho Chef de Cuisine - Rancho Bernardo Inn, San Diego, California represented the United States at the Bocuse d’ Or World Cuisine Contest January 23-24, 2007.
